Church Membership
We believe it is biblically necessary to express your membership in the universal Body of Christ through membership in a local church. Just as you cannot claim to be a member of the National Honors Society without being a member of a local chapter.
Those that are interested in joining the membership of Eureka Baptist Church are encouraged to set up an appointment with Pastor Matt. He will review the church's beliefs, constitution, and the Bible's teachings on church membership with the candidate. The candidate will be asked to share his/her story of coming to faith in Jesus and should be able to display a basic understanding of the Gospel. If the candidate meets the biblical requirements and still desires to become a church member, he/she will then be presented before the congregation for approval.
Below is a download link for the curriculum used to explain church membership according to the Bible. You can also refer to our Sermons page where you can listen to all seven sermons in the "Membership 101" series.
